Jas will use precision and skill to administer your injection of a purified protein solution into the specific facial muscle.A very fine needle is used, with only minor discomfort experienced.

Anti-wrinkle Injections take approximately 15-20 minutes to administer, however they produce fast and highly pleasing results, relaxing the excessive contraction of muscles and smoothing visible wrinkles for 3 to 4 months.

Depending on the condition of your skin, results can be visible within 5 days of receiving treatment.

The full effect will show approximately 2 weeks post treatment. Patients are encouraged to return for a 2-week review for an assessment to ensure optimal results have been achieved.

Anti-wrinkle injections last 3 to 4 months on average, however this is dependent on dose amount, as effects decrease gradually over time.

There is generally no downtime after anti-wrinkle injections, however there may be a small amount of bleeding, bruising or redness at the injection site. In some cases it can take several days for residual bruising to subside.

Other rare side effects may result from your individual response to the medication used… Dependant on the area treated, these temporary effects could include:

• Spocking or over-active eyebrow: this is an indication that you may need an adjustment in the dose and distribution of the anti-wrinkle injection – this is easily rectified at your 2 week review.
• Puffiness and shelfing around the eyes: this resolves itself over the 3 month period and is an indication that you may need an adjustment of the dose and placement of the anti-wrinkle injection.
• Asymmetry may occur: including slight drooping of the lip position around the mouth – this can be assessed at your 2 week review.
